Many fencers don’t fail because they lack confidence or discipline. They fail because their nervous system and their negative thinking take over at the worst possible moment. No matter how talented or well-trained you are physically, if fears, doubts, or nerves keep showing up when it matters most, you’ll never consistently compete to your potential.
Performing Like a Champion is Dr. G’s breakthrough program, blending his most current performance-enhancing and slump-busting methods with revolutionary tools for understanding the nervous system’s role in athletic performance. Whether you’re struggling with slumps, the “yips,” competition nerves, or just want to sharpen your mental edge, this program will help you perform like a champion.
With Performing Like a Champion, you’ll discover how to:
Drawing on decades of one-on-one work with athletes at every level, Dr. G combines practical mental toughness strategies with body-based tools that help athletes free themselves from performance blocks. The workbook and audio program walk you through step-by-step exercises and stories so you can immediately apply what you learn to training, competition, and high-pressure moments.
If you do better in practice than you do in competition, if you’re stuck in a slump or paralyzed by fear, if you get psyched out by opponents, or if you just want to build the mental toughness of a champion, this program is for you.
Performing Like a Champion will help you unlock consistent confidence and focus—so you can finally perform at your best when it counts the most.

Alan: Dennis did great this past weekend at the tournament in Kansas City—he placed in the top 32 for points (his first for this age bracket!). This result does not however give the full measure of his fencing that day which was superb—many people said his last bout with the #2 ranked fencer in the US was “a bout for the record books!” Even that fencer said—“Wow Dennis—where did that come from?” Although he lost by one point (15/14), his fencing was amazing. He had great control and I was so pleased to see him fencing this well. He also got lots of attention from college coaches after they watched this bout. This would not have been possible without you and your audio’s. Thank you again.
Your audios have remarkably changed Ben’s whole approach to his fencing. No longer does he implode under the pressure of facing tougher opponents! No longer is he a nervous wreck before his bouts! It’s like he’s a different kid out there! I am so grateful we found your site!
